Map of the World

I was asked to design a children’s world map for Happy Spaces, an exclusive gallery for children. This project was a great way to improve my geography knowledge and also to think about the kinds of animals and places which would appeal to children and inspire them to think about travel and adventure! Here is the final design:

You did a great job Laila, the map is so colourful and happy. This should be very popular as wall poster.

  3. Michael Says:

Looks fantastic. Is it available yet?

  4. Laila Hills Says:

  5. Fhiona Galloway Says:

    brilliant work!!

  6. Kasey Steever Says:

I am VERY interested in the world map you designed! However, I am wondering if it can be made into a full-wall mural?

  7. Laila Hills Says:

Hi Kasey, I’m not sure, the artwork is licensed to Happy Spaces for wall art which they do as printed canvases, to make a whole wall mural it would have to be printed digitally by a specialist company.

  8. Emma Baxter Says:

I love this world map. How do you purchase it?

  9. Laila Hills Says:

Hi Emma, You can purchase the Map as a canvas print at http://www.happyspaces.co.uk/

  10. Nicki Says:

I would love to use this in class as a teaching tool for my 4 and 5 year olds but the canvas is too much for our school budget. This is the only image I have seen that is perfect! Any chance this can be purchased anywhere as a poster??

    Thanks

  11. Laila Hills Says:

Hi Nicki, I’m really glad you like the map, unfortunately it is only available as a canvas at the moment. Laila

  12. Laura Cowell Says:

    Hi
can this map still be purchased.

  13. Laila Hills Says:

Hi Laura, Sorry for the long delay in replying. I’m afraid that the company that sold this map has closed. I will be looking for a new place to sell them through in the future, I’m sorry I can’t give you a date when this will happen at the moment. Best wishes, Laila
